Fairview United Methodist Church, you've been my work home for almost eight years. I have been honored to care for so much of the day-to-day business of the church. Today, you shared your love in a beautiful way. CC City Broiler is our favorite and you have certainly made it possible to visit multiple times. And, I will treasure the books for the rest of my life, including the artwork by Yoko Gely. So, let's not say goodbye, let's say I've retired from work, but not Fairview!

He Is Risen!

The kids offered bad things that people do (lie, steal, not listen to their parents, etc) and those things were written on the foam plate. The counselor tore up the plate and placed it in the aluminum bowl. At this point, polish remover was added to the bowl and the children could see that the ink was washed away from the plate... just as Jesus washes away our sins. They were fascinated, as was this old church secretary.

Sometimes late is better. Just a few pictures from the Fairview/Mother's Morning Out Ice Cream Social on September 17th. About 100 adults and children came out in spite of the rain to dedicate the new Toddler playground and enjoy ice cream and games.

Teaching the children how and when to properly ring the Spurgeon Memorial church bell.

Thought everyone would enjoy this from the Children's message at our 11:00 service. The kids learned this while at FUMC Camp this past week.

This little boy enjoyed mobility after fussing a little. Maybe embarrassment. Once they start and learn. No stopping them. 24 carts today.
